Our Mission:

First Presbyterian Church, Hugo, is a small church with a large heart. We exist to worship and glorify God, to develop and encourage disciples, to welcome all of God's children, to be faithful stewards of all God's gifts, and to exhibit the love and grace of God in the church and in the world.

Here may the faithful find salvation, and the careless be awakened.

Here may the doubting find faith, and the anxious be encouraged.

Here may the tempted find help, and the sorrowful comfort.

Here may the weary find rest, and the strong be renewed.

Here may the aged find consolation, and the young be inspired.

Who We Are: 

The First Presbyterian Church of Hugo is a member of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A., part of the Synod of the Sun, and a member of the Eastern Oklahoma Presbytery. We are a member of the Confessing Church movement. (Click on Confessing Church for more information) 

The church was formed October 5, 1902 and was the first organized church in Hugo. Click on History to find out more.
