Committees:
Committee membership is not limited to Session members, all members are encouraged to be involved in committee work. Committee work is the starting point for reaching out to members, community, and the world to spread the Word of God.
| Property & Finance | Makes recommendations to the Session on building updates and oversees the general upkeep of the facility. Prepares an annual budget for Session discussion, adjustment, and approval. Presents monthly income/expense statement for the Session's review and approval. Church treasurer is a part of this committee. |
| Evangelism, Ministry, & Music | Oversees care of shut-ins and recommends outreach opportunities including support of missionaries and community outreach projects. Works with the Pastor on Service preparation including Communion and other special services. Recommends music for various choirs to use and inclusion in services. Choir Directors, organist, pianist participate with this committee. Provide written material for services such as Sunday bulletins. |
| Christian Education & Lifestyles | Recruits teachers for various age Sunday School Classes and review and recommends materials for classrooms and other education opportunities for kids/youth of all ages including adult and bible study classes and coordinates vacation bible school. Sunday School teachers participate on this committee. |
| Fellowship | Coordinates fellowship opportunities including Third Sunday Luncheon, Adult Night Out and other fellowship activities. Developing church directory. Works with other committees to promote the church family. |
