About Our Church

The First Presbyterian Church of Hugo has a unicameral form of government operating with a Session and Trustees. Each Elder Chairs/Co-Chairs a committee of the Church. The Committees do the work with the Elder reporting to the Session for any necessary approvals and funding. Committee membership is open to all members of First Presbyterian Church, Hugo, OK.

Our Mission: 

First Presbyterian Church, Hugo, is a small church with a large heart. We exist to worship and glorify God, to develop and encourage disciples, to welcome all of God's children, to be faithful stewards of all God's gifts, and to exhibit the love and grace of God in the church and in the world.

Here may the faithful find salvation, and the careless be awakened.

Here may the doubting find faith, and the anxious be encouraged.

Here may the tempted find help, and the sorrowful comfort.

Here may the weary find rest, and the strong be renewed.

Here may the aged find consolation, and the young be inspired.
